Government says no rift with India

The government says it has no rift with India despite issues raised in Tamil Nadu against Sri Lanka.President Mahinda Rajapaksa says the government has always invited politicians in Tamil Nadu to come to Sri Lanka and see firsthand the ground situation. He says some politicians had already visited the country and saw the actual situation but yet there are protests and demonstrations continuing in Tamil Nadu.The President however says despite the protests the relationship with India as a whole has not been affected. read more
